Peaks is inspired by the Himalayas and the contradictions within nature. The interplay of vertical and horizontal lines mirrors the contrast between the vast width and towering heights of the mountains. The desert-inspired hues were chosen for this piece, further highlighting the contrasts in nature, standing in sharp contrast to the mountainous landscape. It also draws from the design principle of Nepalese carvings, where design elements are often repeated to create a sense of depth and movement.
